John Hoeffner is an attorney and former editor of the Catholic Lawyer. He taught appellate advocacy at Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a teaching fellow and received an LL.M. in Advocacy, and practiced law at several leading firms. He also prosecuted civil rights cases while working at the Department of Justice. His recent publications have appeared in the Journal of Catholic Social Thought, Georgetown Immigrant Law Journal, and the Mediterranean Journal of Human Rights.
